The holiday season is upon us. If you will be traveling for Thanksgiving or Christmas or both, here are some items to pack in your under-the-seat carry on to make the journey go a little smoother.
5 Things to Pack for Any Trip
- Tablet, smartphone, personal DVD player…pick your favorite electronic entertainment source to watch videos, listen to music, read (or listen to) a book, or (if you’re waiting for a connection and WiFi is available) surf the Internet.
- While you are listening to or watching that entertainment, eliminate as much background noise as possible with noise cancelling headphones.
- Bring along some healthy eats to avoid being at the mercy of hunger pangs, food vendors, and pricey airline boxed meals.
- De-stress and stay calm and centered with lavender oil. We have a new line of therapeutic oils in stock. Check them out on your next visit!
- Keep a mini-makeup kit at hand so you can look your best no matter how long the trip. Garbo is here to help: Ask Jordan to help you put together just what you need!
5 More Musts for Longer Trips
Will you be on the plane for a long stretch? Be sure to pack these five items to help you relax and get some shut eye.
- Pack some comfy clothes and change into them once you settle in.
- Magnesium citrate helps with sleep. Take one or two 200 mg tablets to get you in the mood for z’s.
- A sleep mask puts you in the dark and…
- …ear plugs block out distracting noises.
- And stock a toiletry kit with the stuff you need before and after your sleep session. Garbo has a great selection of travel size Aveda products, so come in and stock up!
