We love fashion that can get the masses talking and isn’t afraid to raise the bar, or some eyebrows. This year’s Austin Fashion Week delivered in both ways.

Condom Couture. A fashion show that aims to recognize and provoke thought about gender inequity, global health, and HIV/AIDS. Not only known for it’s amazing charitable contributions, but Condom Couture entices student participation by challenging designers to create outfits out of condoms. Fashion and helping raise awareness against a global disease? Count us in!

We can’t wait to see what they drum up next year, but in the meantime, check out what they did this year!

Condom Couture is provocative and innovative and engages students and members of the Austin community every year, as they help to prepare in the fight against AIDS.

 White film from lip gloss. You’ve lubricated your kisser, but are left with this film that is SO HARD to get rid over. Skip it by moistening your lips with a wet wash cloth before applying the gloss.

 My hair grows back immediately after shaving. We know you are right there with us on this one. You just shaved and it seems like its already back for round two. Try exfoliating before hand and that should help slow down the process.

In that same breath though, we don’t have a personal stylist (or the $$$ for one) so we can’t say that she should get off scot-free. If anything she should hire a new stylist. Because, it just doesn’t. No matter who you are.
